Researchers have started to notice that elephants tusks are getting shorter and shorter. My other favorite whale... I mean dolphin is the orca ! Most people don’t realize orcas are actually dolphins not whales. They share behavioral traits with dolphins such as living in pods . The also both use echolocation. #orcas
Fun fact about humpbacks... each whale has a different design that can be found in its underbelly . The white markings are like human fingerprints. #funfacts #humpbacks #whaleday
It’s international whale day! Ever since I was a little thing I loved whales. A few years ago I had the opportunity to swim with orcas and humpbacks. If you can imagine it was one of the most magical experiences in my life. Being in the water with these creatures and listening to them sing underwater is what I imagine my heaven to be like. #whaleday #humpbacks #whale #oceanbeauty
